nodeQ is pleased to announce its appointment to the Industrial Board of QUBIP (Quantum-Safe and Future-Proof Infrastructure Pathway), a strategic European initiative focused on accelerating the continent’s secure transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). This marks a key milestone in nodeQ’s ongoing commitment to advancing resilient, quantum-ready digital infrastructure.
About QUBIP
QUBIP is a large-scale collaborative effort supported by the European Commission under the Digital Europe Programme. Its mission is to prepare Europe’s digital backbone for the age of quantum computing by developing and demonstrating a practical, scalable pathway toward PQC implementation. The project is unique in its scope — bridging research, industry, and policy to address the technical and operational challenges of integrating PQC into existing systems.
Spanning all layers of digital infrastructure — from cloud services and operating systems to embedded devices and public key infrastructure — QUBIP aims to ensure that Europe’s digital ecosystem remains secure, interoperable, and future-proof.
nodeQ's Role on the Industrial Board
As a member of the QUBIP Industrial and Advisory Board, nodeQ brings specialized expertise in quantum networking, a field that is rapidly emerging as a critical enabler of next-generation cybersecurity and communications. Our participation reflects the importance of cross-domain collaboration in meeting the real-world challenges of post-quantum security.
nodeQ’s contributions to QUBIP will focus on supporting the design of network-layer strategies, guiding integration of quantum-safe solutions into real-world infrastructure, and contributing insights on interoperability, threat modeling, and long-term resilience.
A Collaborative Effort for Quantum Resilience
The QUBIP consortium includes leading academic institutions, research centers, government bodies, and private-sector partners across Europe. The Industrial Board plays an advisory and strategic guidance role — ensuring that the outputs of QUBIP remain grounded in practical industry requirements and aligned with global standards.
This collaborative, multidisciplinary approach is vital as Europe positions itself to lead globally in post-quantum readiness. The transition to PQC is not just a cryptographic upgrade; it requires rethinking how systems, networks, and services operate at every level. nodeQ is proud to be part of this mission.
