nodeQ is pleased to announce that it has joined Kirq, Numana’s quantum communication testbed. This collaboration allows nodeQ to deploy its quantum networking software within a real-world experimental environment, bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical implementation. nodeQ's digital twin technology, designed to model, design, and optimise hybrid classical–quantum networks, will be leveraged to study how quantum communication infrastructures can be architected, operated, and scaled securely under realistic conditions.
By working within the Kirq ecosystem, nodeQ joins a growing community that brings together industry leaders, academic researchers, and public-sector stakeholders. This collaborative framework creates the conditions necessary to accelerate innovation, validate emerging technologies, and address the technical and operational challenges of quantum networking.
Through this engagement, nodeQ aims to contribute practical insights, support ecosystem development, and help advance the transition of quantum communication technologies from experimental testbeds to real-world deployment. We look forward to collaborating closely with partners across Kirq and to playing an active role in shaping the future of secure quantum networks.
