Leading quantum innovator and nodeQ Founder & CEO, Professor Stefano Pirandola, has been awarded the IET Achievement Medal in Quantum Technology for his pioneering work in quantum communications.
This prestigious honour recognises Prof. Pirandola’s groundbreaking contributions to quantum communications, notably his work in establishing the ultimate theoretical limits for quantum key distribution, quantum teleportation, and entanglement distribution. These advances have shaped the very foundation of secure quantum communication — defining what is physically possible for the future of quantum networks.
As one of the world’s leading theorists in the field, Prof. Pirandola’s research continues to bridge academia and industry, pushing the boundaries of what’s achievable in quantum networking, communication, and computation.
